Kids just wanna have fun! I believe that all kids should have the opportunity to participate in sports such as basketball or soccer. These are sports that need little equipment that everyone can play – even me!
I am holding a public meeting to tell the community about a new initiative that I am undertaking with other community leaders to help ensure that every kid in north Winnipeg can get healthy and stay active through sports.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, February 24, 2010 at the Maples Community Centre at 6 p.m. I hope to see you there!
